Breakthrough Stands Against AAPI Hate

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have witnessed a disturbing rise in violence, discrimination, and hateful rhetoric against the Asian American community. A week has passed since the devastating hate crime in Atlanta that took the life of Delaina Ashley Yaun Gonzalez, Paul Andre Michels, Xiaojie Tan, Daoyou Feng, Hyun Jung Grant, Suncha Kim, Soon Chung Park, Yong Ae Yue, and Elcias Hernandez-Ortiz. Within a week, we have seen allies and changemakers alike take action to eradicate harmful stereotypes that endanger the AAPI community. We must come together to make a meaningful change. We at Breakthrough stand with the AAPI community and are committed to uplifting your stories, experiences, and dreams of liberation. Hate has no place here.
